We are a supplier of good quality, seasoned hardwood logs! 

Longacre Logs are a family concern based in North West Leicestershire and offering delivery of naturally dried fire wood for heating, BBQ or recreational purposes. 

Our carefully selected hardwood logs are of the best quality and include well known and reputable varieties such as Ash, Oak, Beech, Alder, Cherry and Silver Birch, among others. 

Logs are cut and split to regular 9” (230 mm) lengths before being barn dried for 12 - 24 months to ensure they are below 20% moisture. Their regular and consistent size makes our logs easier to stack and work with, making them suitable for most stoves, open fires, log baskets, fire pits, pizza oven's and Chiminea's. 

Unlike most other suppliers of firewood logs, our deliveries are not made via courier or third party.  All of our logs are delivered on our own vehicles, packed in mini bulk bags (bag size; 400x350x600mm).   This enables the wood to be easily transferred by the driver to the desired location on arrival, without the need for any mess or downtime for the client in having to move the logs off the pavement, or from off their driveway after the more traditional bulk or tipped delivery. 

Please note; clients often ask what the weight of the full mini bags are, but this is not the best unit of measure as wet unseasoned wood will always be heavier than properly dried or seasoned logs!  Instead logs are best measured by volume, with 5x of our mini bulk bags being in excess of 1x traditional builder's ton bag.  Please also note that for a number of reasons, not least that of viability, our minimum order is 10x mini bags per delivery.
